Gordon Thorburn is particularly well known for his book about sheds and their occupants: 'Men and Sheds' was a best seller, loved by many. His other work includes 'Bombers, first and last', 'Pubs and their histories', 'The Classic Allotment,' 'Remembering the High Street' and 'Cassius the Police Dog'.
Paul Davies
Paul Davies has also been a famous cartoonist, as he puts it, since 'well before digital anything'. He draws with a pen on paper, but the results can be seen online, at www.pauldaviesdraws. ‘Some Missing Persons’ is not his first collaboration with Gordon Thorburn and he hopes it will not be the last, and so does he. They first worked together in advertising, many years ago, but (again in Paul's words) have belatedly achieved a semblance of respectability. :)
